Who says quitting the smoking habit is tough? Could it be that everything you've always believed about how difficult it is to quit is wrong? You may not realize it but there are indeed ways to quit smoking quickly, permanently and painlessly. One such solution for many has been found in hypnotherapy.

Hypnosis works because the foundation for everything you believe as well the roots of behavioral habits reside in your subconscious. Hypnotherapy reaches deeply into the subconscious mind and taps into all those underlying beliefs and behaviors that cause you to cling to the smoking habit.

Somewhere along the line you established an entire set of unhealthy beliefs about smoking. Perhaps when you first lit up you thought smoking would make you look cool, grown up or sophisticated. Then over time you developed the idea that smoking relaxes you or rewards you somehow. Smoking for you became a pleasant and desirable experience. Those beliefs are why you are finding it so hard to quit now. Your subconscious still perceives those beliefs as benefits of smoking and therefore until trained otherwise will actually hinder your attempts to quit.

When you first started smoking you also began taking a highly addictive drug into your body. Regular intake of nicotine then caused your body to form physical dependence so now you are an addict, hooked both psychologically and physically.

Hypnotherapy allows for the retraining of the subconscious mind so old habits and beliefs can be discarded and replaced by those more productive and healthy. Hypnotherapy can also help you overcome the uncomfortable effects of nicotine withdraw so quitting the smoking habit actually becomes an enjoyable experience.

Quitting the smoking habit is indeed about beliefs and habits rooted in the subconscious. Perhaps the first belief that needs to be eradicated is the belief that quitting smoking is incredibly difficult, because with the help of hypnosis it doesn't need to be.
